As a platform for great teachers, Lessonface abounds with charismatic experts. We host over 2,500 supremely talented educators, covering over 206 subjects in private lessons and a growing number of group classes as well.
We try to celebrate our teachers throughout the year, and as an annual event, we additionally celebrate the teacher who taught the most in the year overall, as well as the most in each of the subjects - as the Teachers of the Year.
This year, we are so happy to name our top teacher: piano teacher Beverly Cashin!
We are incredibly excited to celebrate the Lessonface community this year with our first ever Showcase Week! Showcase Week will take place Dec. 4-11th and is jam packed with student recitals, giveaways from Lessonface sponsors, gift guides and our Teacher Of The Year announcements!
Teacher Of The Year is awarded to the top instructor in every instrument category on Lessonface. There will be an overall Teacher Of The Year announced during Showcase Week, so stay tuned.

Jason DePue is a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music. He has been teaching violin since 1998 and joined Lessonface in 2020 and has quickly become a top teacher. His students have enjoyed full tuition scholarships to top music schools such as Juilliard, Starling Scholarship opportunities, and many enjoy successful careers as independent performing musicians/teachers in their own right. For these reasons and so many more, Jason is this month's teacher spotlight. We caught up with him via email from his home in Philadelphia.
