About
Classical Violinist – Carnegie Hall Debut in 2026
I am a Romanian‑British violinist with international solo performance experience, including solo debuts at Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall, New York), Royal Albert Hall (Elgar Room, London) and Concertgebouw (Kleine Zaal, Amsterdam).
Trained at the National University of Music in Bucharest (BMus in Instrumental Performance) and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester (MMus in Solo Performance), I aim to bring high‑level artistic insight into violin pedagogy, fostering a performance‑centred and musically expressive approach to teaching. Alongside my performance studies, I completed formal pedagogy training in both degrees, forming the foundation of my work as a violin teacher.
I later specialised in the Colourstrings approach, earning certifications at the Yehudi Menuhin School and Kingston University, where I trained directly with Csaba and Géza Szilvay. Their clarity, imagination, and deep respect for each student’s musical journey continue to shape my teaching.
Teaching Style
My aim is to help students develop a healthy technique, a resonant tone, and a personal connection to music. I work with beginners through advanced players.
My students have achieved strong results in ABRSM and Trinity exams, earning Merits and Distinctions from Grade 1 to Grade 5, with additional teaching experience at higher levels, as well as success in music theory. Beyond exams, many have enjoyed performing in concerts, growing in confidence, musicality, and expressive freedom.
Whether preparing for exams, building confidence, or exploring music for personal growth, I guide each student with care, structure, and musical curiosity.
