Teaching Style
I teach vocal technique for singers of all ages and levels within a holistic approach to free the vocal instrument. Lessons are fun and empowering as we learn to support the vocal instrument with breath support and increased body awareness. Learning to manage the breath is key to good and healthful singing and my teaching style is influenced by principles of the Alexander Technique, which is phenomenally effective in improving singing technique with greater ease.
I work with children as well as teenagers and adults, tailoring lessons to each age range and experience level.
Whether it's an uptempo musical theater ballad, a folk song, Mozart aria, jazz or pop selection, we end with working on capturing the artistry and vocal style of a chosen piece in a pressure-free, step-by-step process.
Work on improving your singing or prepare for your next studio recording, audition, performance, or just to learn to sing for fun!
