About
Hello! Professional musician and educator with 5+ years of experience. BM in Jazz Composition & Pro Music from Berklee College of Music (2018) and MM in Studio Jazz Writing from The Frost School of Music (University of Miami, 2020). Coming from a jazz writing background initially, I've found myself weaving into the worlds of songwriting and recording/engineering over the years. I've been commercially releasing my own self-produced music since 2015, now at 3 million+ streams and several Spotify playlist placements.
Teaching Style
I'm all about meeting the student wherever they're at in their journey to understanding. To me, true insight comes when we've walked through all the concepts slowly and carefully. There's nothing more fun to me as a teacher than when we get to that "ah ha!" moment.
Music Production Private Lessons - Garageband, Logic
I come into private lesson instruction with a set curriculum of possible topics to cover—all the material I think anyone would need to become great in the area of study. However, all the material is 100% flexible, us being able to spend more or less time in whichever area the student needs. In addition, my curriculum is built around a medium-to-long term main project we'll be focusing on, used to practice and apply all the concepts we cover. This can an original, a cover song/arrangement, sound-alike project, or even existing stems provided by myself.
