Aleksandar Kolovski

Aleksandar Kolovski was born on 09.03.1990 in Skopje (Macedonia) and started playing the accordion at the age of 7 starting the successful co-operation with Professor Branko Kolovski. He is a one of the most distinguished Macedonian artists of his generation. He started his studies at the Music High School DMBUC Ilija Nikolvski-Luj and finish his high school with the highest prize “Klimentina Rafajlovska” for the best young musician of his generation. While he was currently a student at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius he was student in the class of professor Zlatko Madevski. Since 2009 he has been attending master classes in France, where he was a student in the Class of the french professor – Frederic Deschamps. In 2017 he finished his master styding in Anton Bruchner University in Linz, Austria in the class of the professor Alfred Melihar. Apart from his main priority, which is playing classical music, since 2010 he has been studying variete (tango, French music, jazz and so on). He has been recorded by French television 3 in Strasbourg as well as a famous TV Show in Le Mans, and a series of concerts through France in Colmar, Montargis, Monaco, Normandy, and so on. Since 2010 Aleksandar has been a HOHNER artist and is one of the youngest promoters of the model HOHNER fun flash. 

Kolovski is an artist famous for his temperament, virtuosity and impressive technique. In 2011 he 
won 3 prestigious world championships for classical accordion CMA Tophee Mondiale in Pineto, Italy, Castelfidardo,Italy , Montrond les Bains, France, he was a laureate in various categories, and since 2003 has won over 15 international competitions. In 2012 Kolovski won second place on the world competition CMA Trophee Mondiale in senior variete category in Spokane, Washington State(USA).In 2013 he won 1st place in Castelfidardo Italy in senior variete category. 
Aleksandar Kolovski, won the prize " Virtuoso " in the category " Young Music Artist " at the 
ceremony where were awarded a total of nine awards " Virtuoso " for classical music, the various 
categories that are acknowledged for successes of macedonian artists and music institutions over the past one year . The " Virtuosos " was established in 2012, on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture in Macedonia , SOKOM-Associoation of Macedonian composers, Macedonian Philharmonic and the Macedonian Opera and Ballet . 

In 2018 was start creating the duo „Two Bellows“ with his wife Anna Kolovska what were follow with great success in very short time.Aleksandar has been often invited to hold concerts and also as a jury member at festivals in Italy, France, Finland, Bulgaria, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Austria,Portugal, Scotland, Serbia, Amerika, Australia, Russia and others

Teaching has been my job for more than 10 years, during which I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of students—from young beginners discovering their musical talents to serious academic students striving for excellence in their craft.
I am committed to addressing and resolving any technical challenges my students may face with the accordion. Whether it's refining finger placement, improving tone control, or mastering intricate techniques, I work tirelessly with each student to ensure their progress and success. My goal is to help every learner overcome obstacles and unlock their full musical potential. 
Through numerous masterclasses conducted across the globe, I have gained extensive experience in teaching and inspiring accordion students from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds.
