As a singer songwriter, I received “Honorable Mention” for two original songs from the Billboard World Song Contest; produced a CD called "My Love Journey", streaming; speaks some Chinese Mandarin; and an artist of Chinese brush painting.
Teaching Style

Curriculum
The Alfred All in One Piano Course is excellent for adult beginners. The lessons progress logically and also include learning chords and chord progressions.
I like to use the Alfred method books because they have lesson books with accompanying theory and notespeller books.
I emphasize music theory since that is the backbone of music. Understanding music theory will make you a better musician.
If there are pieces you'd like to learn, we can definitely work on them and other supplemental music I like to add.
