Miguel Ferreira (Student of Master in Music Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (Switzerland) )

My name is Miguel and I was a guitar student of André Pires Costa. André was one of the most important people, if not the most important person in my career as a musician, because he was the one who made me think about my future and how to achieve it, for example: where I wanted to see myself in 10 years and what to do to achieve it.
At the time, I had 1001 ideas and was confused about the future, but André helped me understand how to organize them in my favor, which helped me a lot.
In addition, in the music field, the ideal is to be consistent, and André was always clear when I wasn't. He was always able to motivate me to be better and to grow my passion for music.
In short, André was the person who motivated me the most when it came to music and made me realize that I should follow this path.

João Marques (Student of University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich (Germany))

I made enormous progress thanks to the teacher's encouragement and methodology. I developed a solid technique and a unique musicality through the advice I received.
I think the most important thing to highlight is that the teacher is able to show concepts and techniques from different points of view, without dogmatism, encouraging students' autonomy.
The teacher always encouraged me to think for myself, to research topics that interest me and to work hard towards my goals. I learned to create routines that accommodate all the tasks to be completed and I also discovered more effective study methods.
