About

I am a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer with over 15 years of teaching experience in music schools, high schools, and private instruction. Educated at London’s Trinity College of Music, I hold ABRSM Grade 8 certifications in singing, violin, and music theory, alongside advanced studies in piano and guitar.

With thousands of hours in the recording studio, I have played on and produced hundreds of records across multiple genres and contributed to Emmy-winning film and television scores. I have also toured internationally as a musician, working with world-class artists like Sia.

I specialize in voice training (operatic, Broadway, pop), instrumental instruction (guitar, piano, bass), composition, arranging, music theory, production, and recording techniques. My goal is to help students develop their skills, build confidence, and bring their unique musical voice to life—whether they are beginners or professionals looking to refine their craft.

Teaching Style

My teaching approach is personalized, structured, and creative. I combine a classical foundation with modern techniques, ensuring students not only master fundamentals but also apply them in real-world musical settings. My lessons emphasize:

• Technique & Fundamentals – Proper posture, breath control, articulation, and phrasing

• Creative Expression – Songwriting, improvisation, and interpretation

• Ear Training & Sight-Reading – Using my personalized Contour Reading method to simplify sight-singing and improve interval recognition

• Performance & Stage Presence – Overcoming performance anxiety and enhancing artistic delivery

• Industry Insights – Recording, production, and career guidance for aspiring professionals

Each lesson is fully customized based on the student’s goals, whether they are preparing for ABRSM exams, auditions, performances, or personal growth in music.

Curriculum

Rather than following a single curriculum, I combine my years of experience as a performer, composer, and producer to create completely customized instruction for every student. My teaching method is adaptive, practical, and goal-oriented, integrating technical development, creative exercises, and real-world application. Whether working on technique, theory, improvisation, composition, or production, I build lesson plans around each student’s unique learning style and musical aspirations.
