About

Hello! I am a violinist and music educator specializing in classical violin. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Alabama and a Master of Music in String Pedagogy and Music Performance. I've had the privilege of being a classroom teacher, private lesson teacher, and small group instructor with students ages 4 - 65+, with 10 years of teaching experience! I am passionate about musician health and wellness with my master's research on injury prevention. I believe that music is to be shared with all, and I aim to curate lessons based on the music my students enjoy playing while building foundational skills and techniques. Outside of music, I enjoy exercising and taking my dog for walks!

Teaching Style

I believe that music should be fun but challenging. I aim to curate lessons with music students enjoy that build foundational skills and technique. I integrate teachings from Suzuki and Rolland pedagogy to create a well-rounded basis for playing the instrument with ease of movement and musician health at the forefront of the lessons.
