Antoine Veillerette
About
Composer, music theorist, and conductor from Rome, currently studying for a Master’s degree in Composition and Conducting at the Guildhall School of Music. I previously completed a BMus in Composition at Guildhall, where I was awarded the Lord Mayor’s Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
As a conductor, I regularly work with professional, student, and amateur orchestras. Over the past two seasons, I have conducted programmes with Sinfonia Smith Square in London and have been invited to participate in masterclasses with orchestras such as the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland. As an assistant conductor, I have worked on a wide range of projects, from opera productions in Italy to a series of performances at the Royal Albert Hall.
As a composer, my music has been performed across the UK and Europe by both professional and student ensembles, including performances at the University of Warwick, the Guildhall School of Music, and the Ravel Festival in France. I have also recently become an associate composer in the London Symphony Orchestra’s Soundhub scheme.
Teaching Style
I tailor each lesson to the needs of the individual student and am always keen to discuss your musical goals and interests so that lessons can best support your development. As there is no single way of making music, I aim to adapt my teaching approach to what works best for you.
I strive to make lessons stimulating, engaging, and constructive, while above all fostering each student’s enjoyment and love of music.
Lessons can be taught in English, French, or Italian, as I am fluent in all three languages. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your goals and arrange a suitable time for lessons.
