Teaching Style
My teaching style is supportive, clear, and highly adaptable to each student’s goals and level. I work with beginners, intermediate, and advanced cellists, including adult learners and students preparing for auditions, exams, or performances. In lessons, we focus on building a solid technical foundation—posture, bow control, left-hand balance, intonation, and tone production—while always connecting technique to music. I explain concepts in a simple, practical way and help students develop effective practice habits so they can make real progress between lessons. I create a positive and motivating learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their musical expression. Whether a student is learning cello for enjoyment, returning after a break, or aiming for a professional path, lessons are structured to support confidence, consistency, and musical growth. My goal is to help each student enjoy the learning process while developing strong technique, musical understanding, and a personal sound.
