ABOUT ARLETTE BEAUCHAMPS
Classically trained with a B.A. in music with a concentration in voice, Arlette is a NYC singer, dancer, actress who began her professional singing career at the age of 15 touring with top 40’s bands throughout Europe. By 19 she had landed her first Musical with Star Trek’s Nichele Nichols (Lt. Uhura), and also began singing jazz with Harold Land, Jr, Cleve Eaton (Bassie Band), and Jothan Callins (Sun Ra Band).

She soon moved on to Broadway, and her credits include regional performances of “Evita,” “Ain’t Misbehavin,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” and “A Chorus Line” along with solo performances at Opryland USA, Foxwoods Casino, Waldorf Astoria Hotel, with the Richmond County Opera Company, The Cotton Club, Iridium Jazz Club, and for TOHO Entertainment in Japan. Arlette’s album credits include: “Love Again” released in 2001 (Grammy Nominated), and soon to be released “Windmills” both on the Renesants Records label.

Teaching Style

Arlette Beauchamps, teaches Opera, Pop, Jazz, gosperl. folk, R&B, Musical Theater, and Performance.

Curriculum

Arlette Beauchamps uses vocal techniques that are a cross between Bell Canto and the Riggs vocal techniques.  As such, she has created a method of singing that that can easily adopt to all styles of music.
