Arusyak Hekimyan

Hi! I am Arusyak, I've graduated from Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas. Have played in mastercourses with Ilya Gringoltz, Nikolay Madoev, Karen Shahgaldyan, Hrachya Harutyunyan, Yakub Gilman and Karen Aroutounian.  I have played as a soloist with Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, GEPO orchestra in Ukraine and Naregatsi chamber orchestra, have organized several solo concerts in Armenia and  As an orchestra violinist have taken part in festivals, festival academies and have performed in Armenia, Switzerland, Germany, Estonia, France, Greece, China, Russia, Turkey. Among them was being a member of Lucerne Festival Academy in 2012, 2014 playing concerts in famous KKL in Lucerne and Salle Pleyel in Paris under the baton of such renowned conductors as Simon Rattle, Pierre Boulez, Matthias Pintscher. I have performed also with conductors Pablo Heras-Casado, Peter Eotvos, Clement Power, etc. 

  I've worked in chamber orchestras Alan Hovhannes, Dominatus WOX orchestra and Naregatsi chamber orchestras.  Have played many concerts as a member of string quartets, was a violin teacher in Kanachyan and Kushnaryan music schools. From 2016-2019 I was a guest violinist of ANPO New Camerata Ensemble. Currently I work in Armenian National Tagharan Ansemble as a violinist. 

My goals in teaching violin are the students to love music and violin, to be improved technically and musically. Graduating from Yerevan State Conservatory and taking part in mastercourses with great professors, I received my knowledge mostly from Soviet Union style and in my lessons I give that style to my students of course with special methods of students' needs for exams, concerts, competitions or just learning the favourite songs.
