Hi Everyone! I'm Balázs from Hungary.
I have 20 years experience in piano education, both in institutes and through private classes. I love teaching all ages, children from 6 and also adults, all levels from beginners to advanced students. In my private studio located in Budapest I give face-to face classes and organize recitals for my students. Those who are motivated in having challenges I prepare them for competitions. I prepare students for ABRSM exams who need a paper about their studies, most of them pass these exams with distinction. One of my students had a successful entry to Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.
Teaching Style
I always tailor the method and curriculum to the students and their individual needs. I put focus on musical expression, playing technique, music theory, ear training and also sight-reading. I'm very patient with all students.
Curriculum
For beginners I use Faber & Faber's Piano Adventures, Tastenzauberei (Germany) or Hungarian method books depending on the student's learning pace. For advanced students I use different repertoire books including baroque, classical, romantic and modern pieces, sometimes some etudes. They are also allowed to bring their preferred pieces to learn.
