Hi there! Thank you for checking out my profile. Let me share a little about myself.

I am a classically trained cellist with a focus on contemporary music, and I have worked with the likes of Steve Reich, Evan Ziporyn, Michael Gordon, Louis Andriessen and groups such as Bang On A Can and Knower. Most interested in blurring the lines between genres and musical traditions, I have also collaborated extensively with musicians from a vast array of styles, including regularly performing at Boston’s renowned home of folk music Club Passim, working with John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, and collaborating with many young and upcoming groups in Boston. I have most recently appeared on Louis Cole's latest solo album, Time.

I am also a composer, working regularly with ensembles throughout Boston. Drawing together elements from a wide array of traditions, my compositions build driving grooves through a textural language and subtle use of extended techniques.

In mid 2017 I graduated with a Bachelor of Music from The Eastman School of Music where he studied with Steven Doane. More recently, I have received my Masters in Contemporary Classical Music at Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

I have been teaching since 2010 in the Boston, MA and Rochester, NY areas. Throughout the years, I have taught large groups of kids, small group lessons and private lessons.
