Bar-none the best personal instructor I've ever had, not just in voice acting, but in general. I went in with 0 real acting or speech experience at all, and Bill was patient with me grasping the basic concepts. All of the lessons he gave me were the perfect challenge level, and his knowledgeable immediate feedback helped me progress much faster than I could have ever dreamed.

Taking lessons with Bill has improved my speaking voice tremendously. I have been taking six sessions in a row now, 1 lesson each week (30 or 45 min sometimes) and the lessons taught me control over my voice, finding the right pitch naturally (so that I have even no effort speaking in a busy loud restaurant) and just really starting to love my voice and what kind of voice I really have without these habitual restrictions I had. I was nervous sometimes as part of the exercises were to make sounds you usually don't do, but he teaches in such a loving professional way, just show a bit of your hidden "actor talent" :) and I believe you will soon see the progress. After taking the lessons from Bill, I am confident that my counterparts are understanding what I say. Bill was fantastic. His class was well structured and easy to follow. Bill was extremely knowledgable, very easy to work with and extremely patient with a beginner.

Just had my first lesson and Bill and he quickly determined issues in my speaking voice. We discussed many tips (some of them very easy to implement but useful), and in future lessons will focus further on improvements. I'm very glad for this, because I'd imagine there are a hundred ways to use your voice improperly, so having someone with Bill's experience hear your voice and offer recommendations is immensely valuable.

A truly gifted voice/speech coach who was able to engage my 14 yo son unlike most other people ever have. His 5 basic voice/speech communication skill lessons included simple, yet highly effective exercises to improve tone and public speaking in general. I highly recommend giving him a try!

I am in awe that such a talented, flexible and organized teacher is available to work with my 11yo daughter. Bill has extensive professional experience in acting and auditions. He is very organized with helpful homework sent out in advance of class. My child is just getting into acting but I strongly believe his coaching on voice will help her for many years. In fact I’m tempted to sign up more family members for Bill’s instruction.

After one lesson, I feel excited and encouraged to continue with Bill as my voice teacher...Bill stayed engaged and listened to what I was doing with my voice. He then gave simple instruction on how to modify what I was saying after giving an example of himself reading. Only 10 lessons in - and already I have seen a significant difference in my 'on air' voice - thanks to the direction, tutelage, tools and ultimate care Bill has offered. Every session has a great flow, offers new ideas and most importantly there's a great level of comfort as venturing into new areas with your voice is not always easy. It is also incredibly useful that Bill sends out the weeks lesson plan/agenda a few days before our lesson so that I can wrap my head around what we will cover. Further on, I have the lesson plan so that I can always revert back to the tools that are taught as a reminder. Before Bill I had worked with a voice coach that was 4 times the cost, and very generic in the teachings, rather then with Bill who caters the sessions to my needs, and is obviously affordable. I fully recommend Bill, as you can tell. Very little cost for you to try an introductory 5 lessons - and from there you will certainly learn new ways to increase/sharpen your skill level.

Even though he is speaking much better, there are still things about speaking he is learning from Bill. During our sessions, he had me practicing on a professional-style microphone, recorded me performing commercials from scripts, and provided feedback and constructive criticism that helped me to grow as a communications student. Bill is really pretty terrific. After going over the basics of first being understood in the public domain (voice and enunciation practices) we are now beginning, at my request, more commercial uses of speech. I have been in theater and done a few voice overs but just did the work with no training, and with the knowledge I could do better. Now I really feel like I am learning much from Bill about a subject area I always wanted more information about. I feel confident with Bill's specific and professional advice, practice and teaching materials (in this case, ad copy and homework).
