Brynn McCullough

Brynn is an experienced violinist with a Bachelor's of Music in Violin Performance from Youngstown State University. She has studied under the guidance of Dr. Joseph Kromholz. She has been playing the violin for 13 years. She is classically trained but has experience performing other genres. She has been a part of many honors ensembles such as PMEA District 1 Orchestra, PMEA Honors Orchestra and Strings North in PA. At Youngstown State University, Brynn participates in the Dana Chamber Orchestra, Dana Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber groups.



Along with participating in the ensembles offered at her college, she regularly performs with the Shenango High School pit orchestra each spring under the direction of Doug Butchy. Brynn has performed at Carnegie Hall in NYC, the Covelli Center, DeYor Performing Arts Center and Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown, OH. Brynn frequently plays with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra as a substitute violinist in Greenville, PA.



She is a recent participant at the Renova Music Festival in New Castle, PA. The festival focuses on chamber and symphony orchestral music. Through scheduled concerts and events in the community, Brynn is able to share her passion as a performer.



Brynn also teaches each summer at Cello Fury Rock Camp which is an alternative strings camp based in Pittsburgh, PA. The students learn extended techniques and play rock music in both an orchestra and chamber music setting. She helps in masterclass, orchestra and she coaches the rock bands throughout camp since 2015.



Brynn's organized, individualized and friendly teaching style can help her students reach their musical goals. Her students can expect to improve each week in their technique and overall musicality. Each lesson is tailored to the individual students and she wants her students to have fun, love music and improve throughout their lessons. She uses the Suzuki books, the Barbara Barber scale method, Sevcik, Schradieck and student requests to help them achieve their musical goals. Brynn would love to help pass her passion for music along to her students and cannot wait to work with you!



Brynn offers lessons in the Cleveland area online and at her teacher location all year.



Brynn has child abuse clearances and criminal background checks (with fingerprints) in OH and PA.
