Buggy Bowden

I am a professional trombone player and full time band director in Central Florida. I hold degrees in trombone performance and music education from Florida Southern College and the University of South Florida. I have played trombone all over the Tampa area where I play on recordings for independent film scores, perform as a pit musician at the Straz Center, and hold the position of principal trombone in the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra.

I have been teaching private lesson for about 16 years now! All of my students have auditioned and been accepted into the All-County bands, a few placed in the Florida All-State band. I also encourage all of my students to participate in the district and state level Solo and Ensemble festivals. 

I believe in being a well-rounded and versatile musician. I will cover all styles of music in my studio, with the interests of the students in mind. I welcome musicians of all ages and playing abilities.
