About

I have 15 years of experience as a violinist. I have recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stetson University as a Music Performance Major. During my time in college I performed at the Weill Recital Hall at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York as winner of the "Stetson at Carnegie Hall" competition in 2022 and 2023. I have also toured through Germany, Italy in the UK, as well as a member of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Dominican Republic. I am currently working as a music teacher/therapist for kids with disabilities in the Central Florida area.

Teaching Style

My teaching style consists of listening to the students and paying close attention to their learning types, the same way that we are all different, traditional teaching methods might be frustrating or too challenging. The best musical approach is to always keep the student engaged and constantly in a nurturing space, where music can flow freely while learning correct techniques, as well as the basics of music theory and aural skills for an optimal musical development.

Curriculum

My preferred method is the Suzuki method, no matter the age of the students. Some supplemental materials to be discussed might be Carl Flesch Scale Techniques, amongst some etudes such as Mazas and Kreutzer.
