Hello! I am a piano coach, with more than 13 years of physicalteaching experience and more than 4 years of onlinecoaching, focusing on early childhood music for kids as young as 2 years and above, students who wants to learn to play casually and also students who wants to learn and sit for ABRSM exams. I have been teaching since 2011, with a 100% students exam passing rate(Pass, Merit, Distinction), and students who made it to the ABRSM High Scorers Concert.
Teaching Style
Music is different for everyone. I love exposing and experimenting different genres with my students until we find some favourite genres, and we can learn in depth.
For students who are looking to take the ABRSM exams, we will cover many other songs until you are ready, then we will start choosing your favourite songs for exams.
Enjoying the process of making music, is my main priority. It can sometimes be difficult, but with lots of practice , we can do it together!
Curriculum
The basics of learning musics is learning how to read the notes and counts. Once you understand this, it will be easy for you to move on to more complex pieces, and you will be able to play whichever piece shown to you.
After that, we will begin to break things down into many little branches to make beautiful music. Adding flair, flavour, touch, character. Learn to play music that can touch others.
