Chad Hasty
About
Chad Hasty is an American touring drummer and educator based in Virginia. He co-founded the progressive metalcore group Glass Cloud and later recorded and performed with Glassjaw. He currently tours with Bryce Vine, Head Automatica, and Melanie Martinez. Chad has over 20 years of playing experience and has graduated from Berklee College of Music with Bachelor of Music in Performance degree. His lessons center on time, feel, dynamic control, and musical decision-making. Students learn the key points of developing strong time and feel, while also being able to improvise in different musical situations.
