About

I am a classically trained mezzo-soprano with extensive performance and teaching experience in both the United States and Europe. I have been singing at a high level since high school and was honored to perform as a member of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, where I developed strong skills in choral singing, vocal discipline, and musical interpretation.

I am currently studying opera while living in Spain. My training allows me to guide students in building healthy, sustainable vocal habits while developing artistry and confidence.

I specialize in teaching classical voice, including opera, choral technique, and religious music. I also have experience performing in and teaching musical theater, and I enjoy helping students explore a range of styles while maintaining strong technical foundations.

Teaching Style

My teaching approach emphasizes healthy vocal technique, efficient breath support, tone development, and expressive performance. I build strong technical foundations while helping students connect emotionally to the music.

I love to make my lessons fun and interactive, using a variety of methods to teach breathing, vocal placement, vowel shaping, and tone color in a clear, practical way. I also focus on well-rounded musicianship, including sight-singing, ear training, breath training, performance skills, and music theory.

I work with students aged 12 and older and tailor each lesson to individual goals. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can grow with confidence.

Curriculum

I work individually with each student to choose repertoire that fits their voice, level, and goals, supporting healthy development and growth.
