Connor Devoto

Hello! My name is Connor and I've been teaching music lessons for 14 years. I have played piano since I was 5, guitar since I was 7, and ukulele since I was 8. I won the Best Musician Award my senior year of high school for my achievements in multiple instruments there. I was an instructor at Cincinnati School of Music in 2018, then got a certificate in Business Management from Gateway College. I then created my own local music lesson company and run it still today! I also have been playing live music in multiple bands in the Cincinnati area for over 10 years. Music is my life's passion along with teaching!

I believe in making lessons fun and exciting for each and every student. Want to learn classical music? Let's do it! Want to learn the theme song to your favorite show? Why not! In my experience, it helps to learn songs that you know, as you will enjoy practicing more with playing songs that you like! I think having a mix of this style of learning, and learning some fundamentals and music theory lead to the best advancement of my students.  I have experience in teaching ages 5 to 75. It's never too late to pick up music!
