About

**About Me**:
A passionate pianist and educator with a Ph.D. in Music from Fu Jen Catholic University (2018), where I studied under Prof. Michael Eldon Dellinger. My performance highlights include solo recitals at Taipei National Concert Hall (2016) and collaborations with the White Bird Choir (2010).

Since 2018, I have been teaching piano at **Zhuangjing Vocational High School**, mentoring students in both classical and contemporary repertoire. Additionally, I serve as a piano instructor at **Matsumoto Music Studio**, designing personalized curricula for diverse age groups. **I regularly organize student piano recitals** to showcase their progress and build performance confidence.

As an active adjudicator, I have judged competitions such as the Asia-Pacific Elite Cup. My teaching philosophy blends technical precision with emotional expression, rooted in years of academic research and stage experience.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is fun, engaging, and student-centered. I believe that learning the piano should be enjoyable experience, so I create a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere in my lessons.

I love using humor and relatable examples to make even the most complex concepts easy to understand. My students appreciate my ability to simplify difficult topics while keeping lessons clear and structured.

Curriculum

My teaching method is designed to help students understand music holistically while building strong technical foundations. I believe that learning the piano is not just about playing notes-it's about developing musical awareness, technique, and expression.

I primarily use Faber Piano Adventures, as it offers a well-structured approach that integrates technique, performance, and music theory. This method helps students not only play pieces but also recognize and understand different musical elements while performing.

For technical training, I incorporate Hanon exercises, which are essential for finger strength and dexterity. I pay special attention to hand position, finger movement, and proper technique, ensuring that students develop a natural and efficient playing style to produce a beautiful piano sound.

In addition to structured materials, I also encourage students to explore their musical interests. Each student works on a piece of their choice, which I arrange based on their skill level. Whether it's classical. pop, or movie soundtracks, this approach keeps students motivated and engaged in their learning journey.
