Damian Eaves

Hello, my name is Damian and I've been teaching both in school and privately for 20+ years.

I am a seasoned musician, stagehand (IATSE210), music educator, and live music streamer.

My journey began in Tasmania, Australia, and has included teaching in schools (Department of Education Tasmania (2009-2016)), service in the Australian Army Band Corps Tasmania (2005-2013), private tutoring (2004 - Current), subsitute teaching in London, UK (2013-2014) and a wide variety of performances in many different scenarios. 

My experience is vast and varied. I have performed in Fringe shows (Edmonton), Musicals, Weddings, Funerals, Busking, Festivals (e.g. Art In the Garden), variety shows, at pubs, birthdays and many other varied venues and events.

I have also been a stage manager of festivals (AITG) as well as stagehand work (2017 - current) for large concerts (Rogers Place, Edmonton), Musicals (Jubilee Theatre, Edmonton) and other venues like the Edmonton convention center and Expo center 

I have a Bachelor degree in Music and Teaching completed at the University of Tasmania as well as completing a number of different musical educational courses such as the CPM contemporary guitar courses.

I am a multi-instrumentalist (Vocals, Guitar, Uke, Bass, Keyboard and Drums) who enjoys looping, improvisation, creativity and bringing passion to everything I do. 

I aim to nuture and create musicianship within students with a focus on the instrumentation (+voice) of their choice/s.
