Dani Danor

Hello! My name is Dani and in a professional musician living in NYC. I play both Piano and drums and have been performing and teaching music for the last 15 years. I received my B.M in jazz studies from the New England Conservatory and have been teaching both privately and at schools in the NY metro area since arriving in 2011. Schools I've taught at include : Piano school of NY, Mark Murphy's Music , and Tone academy of music. As a performer I've played and toured with notable artists such as Grammy nominated singer cyirlle aimee, bass legend Fred Thomas, and Rock singer Cinjun Tate. 

I like to plan my lessons according to each students needs/interests and most comfortable way of learning. Some prefer to learn music by heart , some prefer to read music. I like to work both on reading music and learning chords and melody in order to be able to play music that you hear and love. I have experience teaching students as young as 5 years old.
