Teaching Style
I believe that music is one of the most primal ways that we can communicate and that the ultimate goal of the singer is to be able to express themselves with complete freedom.
I believe that it is my role as a teacher to empower the student. In my studio, I focus on teaching students to free their voice and ride their breath. I believe in helping students cultivate their artistry and a healthy, sustainable vocal technique.
I try to create a sense of play and freedom in lessons. I think the only way a student really improves is if they let go and allow themselves to be open to making new sounds, even if those sounds aren't always "good" ones.
