About

I am a music teacher with 17 years of experience. I hold a bachelor’s degree in musical composition and training in guitar, and I also work as an arranger and orchestrator. My focus includes jazz, Brazilian music, harmony, and improvisation. However, I also have extensive experience in teaching beginners, as I have worked for many years as a coordinator at a music school. This means I can support students at all levels. Additionally, I studied harmony with Vittor Santos, one of Brazil’s leading harmony teachers and arrangers. Over the years, I have trained many students, including those who have gone on to study at institutions like Berklee. If you want to learn guitar—electric or acoustic—or if you’re interested in advanced harmony for other instruments, I’m here to help you develop your musical potential. Feel free to reach out!

Teaching Style

My primary goal as a teacher is to ignite a passion for music in my students, motivating them to practice. My methodology is personalized for each student, whether they are beginners or aspiring professionals. This approach also extends to advanced lessons and harmony beginners. To achieve this, I offer a 20-minute trial lesson to get to know the student and develop a tailored pedagogical plan. In this plan, theory and practice are integrated seamlessly, ensuring that lessons are engaging and dynamic. The repertoire is carefully selected to draw students closer to the study of music. Additionally, each lesson includes customized PDF materials with relevant bibliographic references.

Curriculum

I will suggest and provide texts and learning materials according to each student’s level and goals.
