About

With over a decade of experience in teaching and mentoring musicians, I am a passionate guitar instructor and founder of the Contemporary Music Promotion Center – Magnitude (Novi Sad, Serbia). My teaching philosophy blends technical excellence with creativity, offering a holistic approach that bridges performance, composition, and production.

Over the years, I have collaborated with some of the most esteemed musicians on the Serbian rock and roll scene, both as a performer and a creative partner. My experience extends beyond the stage; I am an experienced session musician, contributing to numerous studio recordings that highlight my versatility and dedication to the craft. Additionally, I have organized and led music camps, creating dynamic learning environments that inspire and connect aspiring musicians with seasoned professionals.

A New Chapter Online
Building on over a decade of local teaching success, I’m now extending my reach to bring the same high-quality, tailored guitar lessons to students far and wide. These virtual doors are open to anyone ready to explore a deeply personal and inspiring musical journey—proving that great lessons transcend any distance.

Teaching Style

Personalized Lessons: Tailored to your style, skill level, and musical aspirations.

Interdisciplinary Approach: A blend of playing techniques, music theory, and production insights for a comprehensive education.

Professional Experience: Hands-on training with industry-standard equipment to simulate real-world musical scenarios.

Ongoing Support: Guidance and encouragement to help you achieve your musical goals.

Curriculum

My teaching method is highly personalized, with each lesson carefully prepared based on prior agreements and the unique needs of the student. After every session, students receive a Guitar Pro file and a PDF summarizing the material covered. This approach allows for systematic tracking of progress and helps students build a well-organized foundation of knowledge, ensuring continuous development and long-term success.

I believe every student has a unique voice waiting to be discovered. While mastering foundational skills is essential, my ultimate aim is to inspire you to move beyond imitation and develop the tools to create and express your own music. Trust me, the moment you compose something you truly love, you might just surprise yourself—and I’ll be there, pretending I knew it all along!

Credentials & Affiliations

I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad (RS), which I completed in 2014. My academic journey has significantly shaped my approach to music education, emphasizing the importance of structured thinking, creativity, and intellectual curiosity in the learning process.

From 2015 to 2020, I worked at the Center for Music Education – Kulturno Sklonište (Novi Sad, Serbia), an institution founded by Petar Jelić, a key figure in the history of Serbian rock music. His last name is closely associated with the birth of rock'n'roll in Yugoslavia, as his uncles were the founding members of YU Grupa, one of the first and most iconic rock bands in the region. Petar, as a younger member of the band, continued to contribute to its legacy, solidifying his position in the Serbian rock scene. This collaboration provided me with invaluable experience, allowing me to hone my teaching methods and build strong mentorship relationships. Working alongside Petar opened doors to collaborations with esteemed musicians from the Serbian music scene, enriching my understanding of the industry.

During this time, I had the honor of guiding two students who went on to enroll at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, one of whom is now a member of my band, Magnitude, and serves as a guest instructor at the music center I later founded.

In 2020, I founded the Center for the Promotion of Contemporary Music – Magnitude (Novi Sad, Serbia). This institution represents my vision of a modern approach to music education, integrating traditional skill-building with creative innovation. As part of this mission, I have organized music camps at Ceptor Andrevlje and Budimlija Resort, providing students with unique opportunities to immerse themselves in comprehensive musical development.

My performance career includes numerous live shows, with standout appearances at the Nišville Jazz Festival (2023). Additionally, my solo concert Digital Dust at SKCNS Fabrika showcased my dedication to blending personal artistry with professional excellence. I also actively contribute as a studio musician, having released two solo albums, Once Upon A Time and Telemachy.

As an instructor, I have organized a variety of student concerts, handling all aspects of event preparation, including student band coaching, venue coordination, technical support, and live production. These initiatives have not only provided invaluable performance experience for young musicians but have also strengthened my skills in leadership and event management, making music accessible and meaningful to a wider audience.
