Dee Fleming

Choose to learn with an expert instructor!  I am a retired choir and orchestra director for a school district (28 years) and currently teach music theory, guitar, ukulele, piano, and songwriting classes part time at a local comunity college.  I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from Montana State University with a minor in Language Arts and am completing a Masters of Education from Grand Canyon University, Glendale, Arizona. I teach beginning through advanced lessons in piano, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, violin, and upright bass. I hold an English As A Secone Language endorsement (K-12) from University of Phoenix and have over 10 years experience as a grammar and English language tutor, for children and adults. I am a published composer and member of ASCAP and my original music catalog is on file with Fervor Records and Publishing in Phoenix, Arizona. I am a published author and teach creative writing, business writing, poetry. 

Plan to be engaged in learning, accelerate your learning, and have fun doing it in taking weekly lessons with me.  I meet the student at their skill level and assignments are both fun and educational.  In my over 20 years of teaching I have developed methods which encourage students to learn quickly and properly, thoroughly covering the basics. I take time to review concepts and ask questions so the students completely understand the assignment.  I am willing to go the extra mile for students and am a "hands on learning" type of teacher.
