Donnabella Mortel
About
Book More. Stress Less. Love the Process.
Train with a working TV/film/voiceover actor who knows exactly what casting is looking for — because I’m still in the room.
I’m Donnabella Mortel, a Filipino-American actress, producer, former NBA cheerleader, and co-founder of The Creation Station Studios. My on-screen credits include How to Get Away with Murder, The Young and the Restless, and NCIS. As a voice actor and narrator, I’ve brought dozens of stories to life including Aces Abroad by George R. R. Martin, and This Shattered World by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. I've also voiced video games and commercials. National commercials span from McDonalds and AT&T to Pizza Hut and Ford!
I don’t just teach acting — I teach actors how to book.
Acting Coaching for Ages 8–80 (If You Can Read Sides, I Can Help)

Whether you're prepping a high-stakes audition or building your foundation, we will:
-
Make bold, specific, authentic choices
-
Strengthen your on-camera presence
-
Master self-tape technique
-
Elevate your commercial reads
-
Refine voiceover and narration performance
Real Industry Insight. No Dogma. No Ego.
I work across TV, film, commercials, and voiceover — so you’re learning from someone actively doing the job.
I incorporate multiple techniques and tailor sessions to your learning style. I’m not dogmatic about one method. Instead, I help you discover what unlocks you.
My goal? To make you an independent, confident actor who doesn’t rely on constant coaching to deliver great work.
The Business Side Matters
Talent alone won’t sustain a career. I also guide students through:
-
Headshot selection and strategy
-
Resume polish and positioning
-
Agent communication
-
Career direction and branding
-
Long-term sustainability in the industry
Above all, I prioritize joy. When actors are relaxed, empowered, and having fun — their best work emerges.
If you’re ready to elevate your craft, sharpen your auditions, and understand the industry from the inside — let’s get to work.
Let’s get you booking!
Teaching Style
My approach is personalized, practical, and empowering.
I don’t believe in one “right” method. I draw from multiple techniques and tailor each session to the individual actor in front of me. Every student learns differently — some are cerebral, some instinctual, some physical, some emotional. I meet you where you are and build from your strengths.
I focus on:
Clarity over confusion – Simple, playable choices that translate on camera.
Real-world application – Everything we do is geared toward auditions, bookings, and professional sets.
Actor independence – I teach you how to analyze and adjust on your own so you’re not dependent on a coach for every audition.
A safe, joyful environment – Growth happens fastest when you feel supported and free to take risks.
Sessions are collaborative, focused, and forward-moving. We’ll work rigorously — but we’ll also laugh. Acting should feel alive, not heavy.
My goal is for you to leave each session more confident, more skilled, and more empowered than when you arrived — with tools you can use immediately.
