About

Hello! I am Eder, a Yamaha Artist, Concert Pianist, and Master of Music.

My musical journey is built on a solid international foundation. I hold a Master's degree from the renowned UNESP (Brazil) and have furthered my piano studies in France and Germany.

As a concert pianist, I have performed in prestigious halls across South America and Europe, including the Teatro Solís (Uruguay) and Sala São Paulo (Brazil).

Besides the classical world, I have a deep connection with popular music. I blend the technical rigor of my classical training with the freedom of Jazz and Brazilian Music. Despite my performance background, my true passion lies in teaching and guiding adult students on their musical path.

Teaching Style

My Methodology: Technique, Sound, and Creativity

I specialize in teaching adult students (Beginner to Intermediate levels). I believe that learning piano should be a joyful and personalized experience. My method rests on three pillars: Technique, Sonority, and Creativity.

Tailored to Your Goals:

  • Structured Path: We can follow a traditional academic model based on the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) curriculum if you desire certification and graded progress.
  • Flexible & Relaxed: If you are looking for a moment of well-being, we can focus on the songs you love—whether it's a Chopin Prelude, a Jazz standard, or Bossa Nova.

Beyond the Notes: I teach you not just to read the score, but to see beyond it. We will work on advanced harmony and the search for a "beautiful sound," ensuring you play with expression from day one.

The Online Studio Experience: My lessons offer an immersive experience comparable to in-person tuition. I use a professional multi-camera setup (overhead and side views), high-fidelity audio, and real-time score projection with on-screen annotations. You will see and hear every detail clearly.

Curriculum

My Teaching Philosophy: I do not believe in a "one size fits all" method. My approach is student-centered, balancing technical development with musical enjoyment.

How a typical lesson works:

  1. Warm-up & Technique: We start with exercises to develop finger independence, sound control, and healthy posture (preventing tension).
  2. Repertoire: We work on pieces that you love and that challenge you appropriately.
  3. Applied Theory: I teach harmony and theory directly applied to the songs we are learning, so you understand the "why" behind the music.
