About

As a vocal coach, Edmund Jr Diesta focuses on the journey of the voice, blending a solid educational foundation from Sorsogon with years of practical experience in the vibrant musical communities of Cavite. His approach is rooted in the belief that every singer’s path is unique, and his role is to provide the steady, technical guidance needed to help others discover their true sound. Having participated in high-level choral environments and international-standard performances, Edmund brings a disciplined but gentle perspective to his teaching. His pedagogy emphasizes the fundamentals of healthy singing—specifically diaphragmatic support, vocal longevity, and the importance of "active listening" to achieve a natural, balanced tone.

In his online sessions, Edmund prioritizes a supportive and patient environment where students feel comfortable exploring their range. He uses a diagnostic method to identify each student's strengths, offering personalized exercises that bridge the gap between technical theory and the joy of singing. Rather than focusing on accolades, his teaching style is defined by a commitment to the craft and a desire to share the lessons he has learned from years of ensemble work and solo study. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your technique, Edmund’s goal is to empower you with the confidence and technical tools to express yourself through music with clarity and heart.

Teaching Style

My pedagogy is shaped by a unique "full-circle" perspective. After graduating from Sorsogon State University, I spent years immersed in the rigorous musical culture of Cavite, eventually performing with a world-class ensemble on the international Grand Prix circuit. This experience taught me that vocal success isn't about "natural talent" alone; it is about disciplined, healthy habits. I bring the high-level ear of an international performer to the supportive, patient environment of a one-on-one tutor, ensuring you receive world-class insights with a humble, local heart.

Curriculum

Sessions are held in a dynamic online environment designed to bridge the digital gap. Each class begins with a Diagnostic Warm-up to assess your vocal state that day, followed by Targeted Technical Exercises tailored to your specific goals. We use real-time feedback and recorded demonstrations to ensure you can hear and see the adjustments needed. Between lessons, you will receive personalized practice guides, ensuring that your progress continues consistently at home in a way that is both manageable inspiring.
