Eduardo David Sandoval Wazzan

Hi, I’m Eduardo Sandoval "Chino", a professional drummer with over 25 years of experience performing, touring, and recording across a wide range of styles—including Latin Jazz, Afro-Caribbean, Hip Hop, Hardcore, Punk, and Reggae. I’m originally from Venezuela and currently based in Fort Myers, FL, and I now offer online drum lessons for students of all levels.

Currently, I play drums for Codefendants, a powerful project produced by Fat Mike of NOFX and signed to Fat Wreck Chords and Bottles to the Ground. I’m also a long-time member of ZETA, a band I joined in 2017. With them, I’ve released three studio albums, performed live sessions on KEXP, Audiotree, and Little Elephant—some of the most meaningful experiences of my career. Over the years, I’ve also worked with bands like La Armada, 430Steps, Circo Vulkano, Lebronch, and North95. 

I’ve recorded drums in legendary studios like Robert Lang Studios, Electrical Audio, Audiotree, Peermusic, and Red Lion Audio, always striving to bring energy, creativity, and precision to every track. I’m proud to be endorsed by Paiste Cymbals, Promark, Evans, Cympad, and Öqvist Drums—gear that helps me express my sound at the highest level.

My goal as a teacher is to share everything I’ve learned from decades of real-world experience—whether it’s refining technique, developing musicality, or preparing for studio and live settings. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals and pace, creating a relaxed but focused environment that encourages progress and creativity.
