Teaching Style
Although we are all engaged in composition, our interests and inclinations naturally differ due to the inherently subjective nature of music. Therefore, it is not only natural and expected but also, in my view, highly desirable for individuals to pursue the paths they find most inspiring and meaningful.
Along this journey, I believe it is essential to explore as many different directions as possible, to experience both the appealing and less appealing aspects of each, and to evolve gradually through this process of discovery. In this sense, I am convinced that every composer requires an education tailored to their unique artistic identity.
While certain fundamentals such as theory, harmony, instrumentation, and orchestration are universally necessary, I consider a personalized approach indispensable when it comes to composition itself. I am confident in my ability to support this kind of individualized development, both through my compositional insight and my strong communication skills, and I believe I can foster the healthiest and most inspiring environment for each student.
Curriculum
The starting point will be determined based on each individual’s current level, desired goals, and specific areas of interest. Topics that foster and refine their compositional skills will be explored in depth. Progress will be achieved through close engagement with the student’s own works, supported by detailed analysis, constructive feedback, and personalized guidance.
