About

Eliran Kadussi is an Israeli countertenor whose career spans opera, concert work, French song, and contemporary repertoire. A graduate with Distinction from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, he completed both his BMus (Hons) and Master’s degrees at Guildhall, where he was awarded the Guildhall Scholarship and later held the Junior Fellowship in Voice (2023–24).

Eliran performs widely across the UK and Europe, with engagements in Germany, France, and Switzerland. His operatic appearances include performances with Garsington Opera, Hampstead Garden Opera, the London Handel Festival, Cambridge Handel Opera Company, and the Tête-à-Tête Opera Festival. His roles include Akhnaten in Glass’s Akhnaten, Oberon in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Ottone in Handel’s Agrippina, Unulfo in Rodelinda, and Baba the Turk in Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress, alongside extensive work in Baroque and early music repertoire.

In 2024, Eliran was selected from nearly 300 applicants for the Wigmore Hall French Song Exchange, working under the mentorship of Dame Felicity Lott and making his debuts at Wigmore Hall (London) and Salle Cortot (Paris). Additional appearances include Opera Prelude and BBC1’s Sunday Morning Live with Mosaic Voices. He has also collaborated in the fashion world, performing for Burberry, Patrick McDowell, and Sault Live 2023.

Future engagements include joining the cast of Krishna at Grange Park Opera in 2026.

Alongside his performing career, Eliran teaches voice, helping singers develop healthy vocal technique, expressive musical interpretation, and confidence in performance. His teaching combines practical technical work with insights drawn from his professional performing experience, supporting singers from beginners to advanced performers.

Teaching Style

My teaching is based on the idea that singing involves the whole identity of the singer. The voice cannot be separated from the body, the breath, the mind, or the emotional world of the performer. Rather than isolating technical elements, I help singers understand how all aspects of the instrument work together.

An important part of my approach is developing body awareness, physical balance, and inner quietness, allowing the voice to function naturally and the singer to perform at their highest ability.

I work with singers of all levels—from beginners discovering their voice to advanced singers preparing auditions, competitions, or professional performances.
