Eliza Bradshaw
About
I am an indie-pop singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and a graduate of Utah State University. As a Teaching Artist, I am deeply invested in the arts and education, and my goal is to cultivate a deep appreciation for music.
Teaching Style
As a continuous learner, I've attended over a dozen music conferences and masterclasses, and have completed a music teaching training program at Songsmith Studio. I'm experienced with kids and teenagers and I taught over 200 group music classes as a music specialist at Camp Chenawanda. I also was an assistant teacher for kids at Mountain West String Academy.
I believe that music education should be inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable, and my goal is to inspire my students to develop a lifelong love for music. Whether you're a beginner or ready to take your skills to the next level, I am passionate about providing a rich learning experience.
Curriculum
All my knowledge is available to my students, and my lessons are customized to the needs of each student. I have taught cello lessons for almost a decade. For beginning cellists, I use the Suzuki method. This approach is designed to help students develop their listening and memory skills.
I also teach songwriting/singing lessons. These students benefit from my skills in ukulele, guitar, piano, and studio recording. Many of my students end up studying several of these topics simultaneously.
