Elizabeth Regas

Hi there! I’m Elizabeth Regas, a classically trained French horn player and music educator who loves helping students build confidence, skill, and joy in their playing. 

I have a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from Boston University. I currently perform with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, and have also performed with the Atlanta Ballet and Atlanta Opera orchestras, as well as many other symphonies and chamber ensembles throughout the United States. These experiences give me a deep appreciation for both the technical precision and expressive artistry that make music come alive, and I bring that same spirit into every lesson I teach.

I’ve worked with students of all ages and abilities, and I spent 14 years working exclusively with students who had learning differences. My approach is supportive, creative, and flexible, helping each student grow at their own pace while developing strong fundamentals in tone, phrasing, and musicianship. Whether you’re preparing for an audition, returning to your instrument, or just beginning your horn journey, I’ll meet you where you are and help you reach your next musical milestone.

My teaching style combines strong fundamentals with a sense of fun and curiosity. We’ll work on tone, phrasing, and technique, but also explore what you want to express through your music. I believe everyone has a musical voice, and my job is to help you find yours.
