About

ABOUT

I am a European conservatory-trained pianist with a Master’s Degree in Piano from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, awarded with Great Distinction (2017). I previously completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Piano at the Conservatory of Trento, graduating with highest honors (110/110 cum laude with honors and special mention). I am currently completing a second Master’s Degree in Composition at the Conservatory of Verona under the guidance of Andrea Mannucci, President of the Italian Society for Contemporary Music (SIMC).

My academic and professional path has been international, with studies and professional activities carried out in Italy, Belgium, and Germany. Alongside my formal education, I have taken part in advanced training projects, competitions, and concert activities, developing a solid classical foundation combined with broad musical experience.

Alongside teaching, I am active as a performer, collaborative pianist, and composer. My goal is to make serious piano study accessible, motivating, and sustainable, even for students with busy lives.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been actively teaching piano for several years in both institutional and private settings. Since 2022, I have taught piano at the Virgo Carmeli School (Italy), initially in collaboration with the San Giuseppe School and, from 2023 onward, exclusively at Virgo Carmeli. Over three academic years, my piano studio at the school grew from 7 to more than 24 students, working primarily with children and teenagers from elementary to middle school age.

In addition to individual piano instruction, I currently teach piano and music theory to adult learners as part of the UTL (Università del Tempo Libero – “Spare Time University”) program at the same institution. This project is designed for adult students approaching piano for personal enrichment through structured and consistent musical study.

Alongside in-person teaching and a practicum experience at the Grünwald Music School in Germany, I have also taught online at an advanced level, including working with Master’s-level students from Italian conservatories, such as the Conservatory of Perugia, focusing on piano mentoring and performance mindset.

PROFESSIONAL & PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE

As a performer and collaborative pianist, I have been involved in a variety of concert and stage productions. From 2022 to 2025, I was a keyboardist in the musical production Mozart 2.0, performing in several major Italian theaters, including the Teatro Sociale di Brescia and the Teatro Nazionale di Milano.

My concert activity also includes solo and chamber music performances in venues such as the Church of San Giorgio in Braida in Verona (2023–2024), as well as participation in concert series dedicated to Baroque music in Trento (2021) and online concerts for cultural associations such as Casa Mozart (2021). I have taken part in international piano competitions, including being awarded First Prize at the Premio Canossa Piano Competition (2006) and at the International Piano Competition Città di Moncalieri (2014). I also reached the semifinal round with orchestra in competitions such as the International Piano Competition Città di Cantù (2012) and the solo semifinals at the International Piano Competition Città di Corato (2017).

Teaching Style

My teaching approach is structured, clear, and stress-free, with a strong focus on technique, musical understanding, and healthy, efficient practice habits. I place particular attention on building solid foundations that allow students to progress increasingly independently and confidently over time.

I work with children, beginners, returning players, and advanced students, adapting each lesson to the individual background, goals, and learning pace of the student. Some students approach piano as a serious hobby, while others pursue more advanced classical objectives; in both cases, my aim is to foster musical awareness, technical reliability, and long-term growth.

I also have experience working with advanced students, including conservatory-level repertoire and exam preparation.

Curriculum

My teaching method is grounded in a solid classical tradition and adapted to the individual needs and goals of each student. Depending on the student’s level and goals, lessons combine technical exercises, repertoire study, and score analysis.

For beginners and returning players, I often work with selected classical piano methods and technical studies to rebuild coordination, reading skills, and basic technique. For more advanced students, the focus shifts toward repertoire development, technique refinement, stylistic awareness, and musical interpretation rather than fixed textbooks.

When appropriate, I suggest targeted technical exercises drawn from advanced composers and pedagogues such as Liszt, Brahms, and Tausig. Materials also include selected studies and repertoire by composers such as Bach, Clementi, Czerny, and Burgmüller, alongside custom exercises and materials prepared specifically during lessons.
