About

I’m a passionate and highly experienced voice coach, as well as a working singer-songwriter who performs regularly. Teaching is one of my greatest joys, and I love sharing the tools and techniques that have helped me build a strong, expressive, and confident voice.

I began training my voice as a child in choir and went on to study Theatre and classical voice at Dickinson College. I’ve been teaching for over 11 years and currently work with around 18 private students, helping singers of all ages and levels develop both technique and artistic confidence.

My focus is on building strong vocal foundations—breath support, healthy technique, range, tone, and emotional connection—so you can experience true freedom and power in your voice. I specialize in Pop, Folk, Musical Theatre, Rock, and Jazz. While I have a classical background, my teaching is rooted in contemporary styles and practical, real-world vocal training.

I create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel safe to grow, explore, and take creative risks. I’m always excited to welcome new students and help you discover what your voice is truly capable of.

I look forward to connecting with you!

Teaching Style

My teaching style is rooted in classical vocal technique, with a modern, highly practical approach. I’ve developed my own method for breaking down any song, in any genre, into clear, approachable steps. Using tools like breath mapping, jaw and alignment awareness, and detailed head voice, chest voice, and mixed voice exercises, I help singers understand exactly how their voice works. We also focus heavily on dynamics, emotional delivery, and musical storytelling—so technique always serves expression. My goal is to give students both the technical foundation and the freedom to sing with confidence, control, and authenticity.

Curriculum

My teaching is grounded in classical technique but tailored for contemporary singers. I’ve created a unique system that breaks down any song by genre using breath charts, vocal placement tools, and head, chest, and mixed voice work. This structured approach helps singers gain control, range, and confidence while learning how to use dynamics and emotion to truly connect with the music.
