Her journey into the world of fiber arts began with a fascination for traditional crafts and a desire to preserve the rich heritage of spinning. Emily has honed her skills through extensive practice and study. Emily co-owns and operates the only mini-mill in SC where she is the primary spinner making thousands of yards of mill-spun custom yarns each year.

Emily's expertise spans a variety of fibers, primarily wool, mohair, and alpaca. She is dedicated to teaching others the joy of creating yarn from raw materials, emphasizing sustainable practices and creative expression.

As an instructor, Emily is known for her approachable teaching style and ability to adapt lessons to suit beginners and advanced students alike.
