Emmanuel Alfred Agbo
About
Hi, I’m Emmanuel, a passionate music teacher with years of experience helping students of all ages discover the joy of music. I specialize in teaching "saxophone, clarinet, and piano", and I hold performance certifications from ABRSM and the London College of Music. I’m also a certified music educator with the International School of Musicians (ISOM).
My approach to teaching is simple: make learning music fun, engaging, and easy to understand. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, I focus on practical learning, technique, and building confidence in every student. I believe that everyone can learn music with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement.
I teach both children and adults, offering personalized lessons that match each student’s pace and goals. My lessons include playing by ear, reading music, improvisation, and performance skills. I also help students prepare for **music exams, competitions, and public performances.
Music is not just about playing notes—it’s about expression, creativity, and enjoyment. My goal is to make every lesson exciting and rewarding so that my students not only learn but also develop a lifelong love for music.
Let’s make music together!
Teaching Style
I believe learning music should be fun, easy, and enjoyable, not stressful or confusing. I teach in a way that fits each student, making sure lessons match their learning speed, goals, and interests.
* Step-by-Step Learning – I break everything down into small, simple steps, so it’s easy to understand and follow.
* Play First, Theory Later – I focus on playing music right away, using fun exercises, familiar songs, and creative activities to help students feel confident before diving into music theory.
* Patience & Encouragement – Everyone learns at their own speed, and that’s okay! I provide gentle guidance, motivation, and feedback to help students improve without pressure.
* Creativity & Expression – Music isn’t just about reading notes! I encourage students to express themselves, try new things, and develop their own style.
* Flexible & Fun Lessons – I have a structured plan, but I also adjust my lessons based on what each student needs, keeping learning exciting and engaging.
Whether you want to learn for fun, prepare for music exams (ABRSM, LCME, ISOM), or become a professional musician, I’m here to guide, support, and inspire you every step of the way!
