Enrique Vivas
About
Hi! I'm a professional musician with more than 25 years of experience. I work as a music teacher, but also as a session musician in the studio and live. Also, I've had my own projects over the years, recording several albums along the way. I started at the age of seven playing violin and guitar, and then switched to electric bass as my main instrument. I have played with: Baruta, Mojo Pojo, Mcklopedia, El Regaño, Rigel Mitxelena, Lobel, Willi Piancioli, Los Tipitos, Proyector Escalante, Jauuar, Raul Ruffino, and many more. You can search on Spotify for my profile "Enrique Pérez Vivas" and listen to some of my work.
Teaching Style
My approach as a teacher is to first detect the student's needs and interests, and then establish specific goals to work on. Whether it's learning to play the electric bass, or learning some songs on guitar to play with friends, or learning a little more about musical language and how music works. All in a friendly and cool environment! The most important thing in my lessons is to be willing and motivated :)
Curriculum
My teaching method is based on learning and deepening the concepts of technique and harmony that allow the student to express himself with greater freedom on the instrument. We define a repertoire to study based on the student's preferences, through which we analyze techniques, styles and different sounds, so that the student learns while having fun with the music he/she likes the most.
