About

Unlock your violin potential with a performer who brings music to life on the world's biggest stages!

I'm Ernest, a california-based artist whose career has taken me from the Hollywood Bowl and the Kennedy Center to international stages with Cirque Du Soleil, Disney Cruise Line, and Universal Studios Japan. My early career was spent touring the U.S. with known mariachi ensemble Campanas De America while also establishing my classical music repertoire.

My last self-produced violin concert, Maestoso, landed me an on-air interview and live recording by Texas Public Radio that still plays on-air today!

At the heart of my work is a deep love for classical music, and I bring that passion to every performance and lesson. I'm often sought out for my ability to blend technical precision with expressive artistry, helping the music come alive on stage. My experience performing on the world's most prestigious stages have helped shaped my approach, and I aim to inspire the same joy and discipline in my students.

Teaching Style

My lessons are designed for students who want to level up their playing and deepen their understanding of music. I expect students to practice regularly and ask questions, because true growth comes from active engagement.

Together, we'll explore the many layers of music - learning not just to play the notes on the page, but to interpret and express them in a way that moves the listener. While anyone can learn the mechanics of the violin, I focus on guiding students to develop their artistry, helping them bring emotion, nuance, and personality to every performance.

Curriculum

I tailor every lesson to the individual student, focusing on their goals and musical interests.

For advanced players, we work on specific concertos, repertoire, or technical areas they want to improve.

For beginners, I use Essential Elements for Strings, Book 1 as a foundation, ensuring students develop solid fundamentals while enjoying the learning process.

In addition, I provide supplemental practice materials, excerpts, and exercises to support each student's growth. Lessons are highly personalized, blending structured guidance with creative exploration so that every student progresses technically, musically, and artistically.
