Hello!

My name is Edijs and I graduated a bachelor from Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of music in piano performance and teaching this year. In parallel with my studies I worked in several music schools like Juglas music school, Vecumnieki music school and Ludzas music school and I have been a teacher for four years. I actively perform solo concerts, but apart from pedagogy, I really enjoy playing with different instruments or vocalists - some Latvian opera singers (Juris Kursevs, Ilze Grevele Skaraine, etc), chorus (Choir "Riga", Varaklani women's choir "Dzelvärte" and Varaklani mixed ensamble "Nona"). I do my solo programs too, in which I mainly performed the music of Latgale composers.

Although I mainly work with various classical compositions, I am happy to help you learn the music of various films and the instrumentation of popular songs, jazz compositions etc. if you can't find the sheet music for your favorite song  , we can agree that I will write one. I like targeted work, especially if the student himself knows what he wants to learn to play, if he is still looking for ideas, I will help with extensive materials. If there is a desire, I will be happy to work not only on teaching sheet music, but also on exercises for developing piano technique :)

 The world of music is very wide and I hope that we will soon start meeting in this world!
