Evelyne is an excellent teacher of French. She engages me in the language at my level, speaking French most of the time but switching to English when she feels it's necessary to clarify certain points. She's exactly what I was hoping to get in a teacher.

In preparation for our upcoming trip to Paris, we decided to learn French from Evelyn. We learned quite a bit in our first five lessons, so we added four more. Evelyn was very patient with us throughout and always had a smile on her face to encourage us. Her curriculum was well planned to ease us into what we could expect when we get to Paris. She had several teaching aides that we printed out to bring as references. While we are not proficient after nine lessons, we feel properly equipped to get us through the trip. If we were not leaving in a few days, we would take more lessons. We definitely recommend Evelyn and give her our vote of approval.

Evelyne helped me feel very comfortable during my first lesson with a good blend of getting acquainted and familiar with my French background while covering several language lesson items involving various verbs, tenses, vocab and specific French phrases. Looking forward to my 2nd lesson!

Super great teacher! Extremely dedicated to her students and the variety of learning styles. She is incredibly talented in different languages. She makes learning a new language fun and easy with the instructional paperwork she creates and then working with you. I have enjoyed every lesson!

Evelyne is a wonderful teacher! I have been working with her every week for over a year to improve my French from proficient to fluent. At this point, I am almost fluent -- native speakers assume I am French (!) Beyond being an effective and knowledgeable teacher, Evelyne is a kind and thoughtful person. Since our lessons take a conversational format, I have had the pleasure of discussing culture, philosophy and the everyday details of life with Evelyne. Superb. Professor Evelyne's multi-lingual command provides an invaluable insight into the origin of French words and their conversational usage. Her pedagogy is organized, focused and yet flexible to allow for conversational diversions. She is patient and most kind. I couldn't have found a better French professor.

I am a "start over" student, having had 3 years of French in high school, which was a very long time ago. I have taken lessons with Evelyne for a month now, and I love her teaching style! I have taken French classes before, but Evelyne has an organized approach that makes it easier to remember the important but difficult details. Evelyne also has an understanding of cultural differences between the US, and different french speaking countries, which is great for anyone planning to move or travel. I fully recommend Evelyne to anyone hoping to better their french skills!

Today was my 8 year old Granddaughter's first French lesson.The rating in essence comes from my Granddaughter who after her first lesson was enthusiastic about wanting to schedule two lessons per week as opposed to the one per week which was planned. Evelyne is intelligent and aware at many levels.She is enthusiastic ,friendly, jovial and most of all, understanding and flexible in a potentially challenging situation. We are off to the start that I hoped for.. Thank You so very much Evelyne!

Good teacher for French Language.

Absolutely love Evelyn! She is very patient, very organized and the lessons are great. I have had French before a long long time ago. We are starting from the basics and moving forward. I don’t feel like anything is too easy or too difficult and we are going at my comfort level.

I've taken many classes with several different tutors and can say with confidence that Evelyne's classes are 100% worth it if you really want to learn French! She's very patient and extremely knowledgeable about the French language and cultural nuances. I really enjoy her classes and look forward to our future lessons!

My 6th grade son is truly enjoying taking French lessons with Evelyne. His school does not offer French, so he asked to take online lessons. He raves that Evelyne is patient, and takes the time to make sure he really understands the material. He also appreciates that she makes the lessons interesting and enjoyable. A 12 year old boy is a tough critic, and he raves about Evelyne. Highly recommend her!

Evelyne volunteered at my daughter’s school while in Canada. She liked to be involved and useful in different school activities involving children of various age groups. She is very reliable and was always patient with the kids. Her love of children was clearly visible at all times. Perhaps more importantly, the children adored her too. Her intelligence, caring nature, sense of humour and her ability to adapt very quickly to the children’s needs makes it easy to highly recommend her for tutoring.

Evelyne is such a reliable and trustworthy teacher and person as well. She can adapt super quickly and easily to the people she is teaching and is always super patient. She’s an enthusiastic and outgoing person with lots of abilities and knows what she’s doing. Definitely recommend.
