Teaching Style

Filip has ten years of experience in teaching various musical genres. He specializes in teaching classical guitar. Filip has taught 5 years at the music school in Serbia, before moving to United States and teaching guitar at the University of Minnesota for the following 4 years. He has taught both group and individual lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Filip focuses on the individual needs of his students, helping them overcome any issues they might have with their playing. He believes that it is the most important, not only to be able to demonstrate and explain how something needs to sound and how it needs to be played, but also to teach the students how to practice in order to achieve the desired level of performance.
