About
Ciao! My name is Francesca Pusceddu and I was born in Sardinia (Italy).
I am an opera singer, graduated in singing Summa cum Laude and trained at the Dutch National Opera Academy of Amsterdam.
I perform internationally both Opera and Oratorio. I am also a music teacher, I follow many singers in several different styles.
I teach since more than 10 years and I enjoy it deeply. As a soloist I have been recognized with prestigious prices at international vocal competitions in Italy and abroad.
I am constantly on the move for my concerts, I like to meet people and to get to know them on a deeper level. I believe in the power of the mind and in good energies.
Teaching Style
I teach mostly online as it gives me the opportunity to connect with many people and the freedom I need to travel for my concerts.
I have students of every age (From 4 YO to 70+) and from many parts of the World (Italy, The Netherlands, USA, China, Hong Kong, Switzerland and more...)
My specialty is of course Opera and Classical singing, but my students sing in many different styles as I help them in finding the right breath support and develop an healthy Phonation.
My lessons always include a part of breathing and singing technique before we move to the repertoire. We will choose together the repertoire (arias/songs) that most suit the taste and level of the student, and that will help us achieve the goals we will set together.

I have a Bachelor summa cum Laude in singing at the Prins Claus Conservatorium of Groningen
In 2021 I got my Master in Performing Opera From the Dutch National Opera Academy of Amsterdam
I teach privately since 10+ years and I taught Music for two years at the Chatterbox International school of Cagliari
I perform internationally in several venues in, Italy, Netherlands, Marocco, Germany, Poland and France such as, amongst others, Muziekgebouw, Teatro Duse, Teatro Fusco, Teatro Comunale di Sassari, Filharmonia Krakowska, Teatro Coccia di Novara, Théâtre National Mohammed V in Rabat and more.
My awards include:
Finalist and Winner of the Special Price of the Teatro Coccia di Novara at the SOI Fiorenza Cedolins International Competition in 2023.
1er Prix Femme at the Concours International de Chant Lyrique de Canari
Finalist and winner of the Callas Special Prize at the 15th International Opera Singing Competition “Città di Brescia” in memory of Maria Callas.
Finalist at the Concorso internazionale di canto lirico Vittorio Bari in 2024
