About

Hola, I’m Gabriela, a Mexican-American teacher passionate about language and cultural exchange. I earned my Doctorate in Education in Mexico, where I spent most of my life before moving to the United States. My academic background has shaped my love for teaching and connecting with others through meaningful conversations and immersive learning experiences.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them improve their Spanish skills through conversation-based practice. I especially enjoy creating a welcoming environment where learners feel comfortable making mistakes, growing their confidence, and exploring the richness of the Spanish language and Latin American culture.

I currently live in the U.S. and continue to share my language and culture through one-on-one lessons. I’d love to support you on your Spanish learning journey—nos vemos en clase.

Teaching Style

My classes are welcoming, interactive, and tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I believe in creating a supportive and motivating space where students feel confident practicing real-life communication from day one. Whether you’re learning Spanish for travel, professional development, or personal enrichment, I adapt our lessons to meet your needs and build your confidence.

I place a strong focus on speaking and listening through conversation-based practice and immersion. However, I also incorporate grammar, reading, and cultural elements naturally within our sessions to provide a comprehensive language learning experience. My background in education allows me to scaffold lessons in a way that’s both structured and flexible, depending on your pace and interests.

As a teacher, I’m patient, enthusiastic, and always ready to celebrate your progress—no matter how big or small.
