Hello,
I am Gauri Deshpande. I am a pianist, composer and music producer with over 15 years of teaching experience. I have taught classical piano, keyboard, music theory and electronic music production to musicians across the globe.
I have a Master's degree in Music Technology from the California Institute of the Arts, USA. I have performed live at various reputed educational and social institutes in USA and in India, such as California Institute of the Arts, the Whisling Woods Institute, respectively.
I do film scoring for Bollywood movies.
You can listen to my latest music albums on all the major music streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Music. I create piano and electronic music videos in different genres, such as classical, contemporary, Bollywood, Hollywood and fusion music for my YouTube channel.
For electronic music production, I primarily use Ableton live and Cubase Pro. I use Logic pro and Cubase for film scoring Pro Tools for Sound Design and Audio Recording.
I have been teaching piano, keyboard, music theory, composition, electronic music production using top DAWs to students all over the world for more than 15 years.

Teaching Style
If you are a budding musician wanting to learn piano or keyboard to play songs, or a professional musician who wants to learn classical music or music theory, and enhance the piano playing skills, this is the right place for you. I will help you to achieve your musical goals and help you to enhance your musicianship.
I teach electronic music production starting from beginner to advance levels. I teach music production in various genres such as EDM, Ambient music and Electronic music. I focus on electronic music production using Ableton live, Cubase and other major DAWs.
I take into account a student's current skills and knowledge in a particular area and focus on developing it further to enhance the musicianship.
Curriculum
I will help you to learn from the basics and achieve your musical goals.
My teaching method is tailored to suit each student's learning needs.
I tell the students at the beginning of lessons, what they can expect from the lessons and how much they can accomplish.
For Piano, I start with the basics, and teach the students with the help of books and give my own notes. Once they progress with this, I teach them ear training, music theory and so on. I teach my students the western classical repertoire and prepare them for recitals and concerts.
For electronic music production, I teach the concepts of music production, sound design and give practical training on how to produce electronic music.

Piano performance with RD Talkies at Hiranandani Estate, Thane, India. The title of the show was 'Saranga Teri yaad Mein'. I led the instrumental section for the Instrumentals only song, 'Kisi ki Muskurahaton pe ho nisar'.
2. 'Ram', Original Composition for Piano & Sitar

'Ram' is a peaceful mix of Indian and Western Classical music that creates a meditative experience for the listeners.
'Ram' means the light in my heart. God resides in the heart of everyone and all of us have an unlimited potential. We can tap into this potential by looking within ourselves, and meditation.
The program is a mix of classical melodies, original compositions and an improvisation of raga Khamaj by Gauri Deshpande.
The two compositions are:

Live Piano Performance of Contemporary and Bollywood Music with Flutist Naveen Kumar, at the 5th Veda Creative Minds Workshop, Whistling Woods International Institute.
The workshop was attended by the students and faculty of the Whistling Woods international Institute.
It was an interactive workshop, which involved an on-stage discussion with Film Director Subhash Ghai, followed by a 'Question and Answer' session with the audience.
Film music Composition:
Composed and recorded Background Music by working under the music composer for the Bollywood movie, Thackeray.
Electronic Music Production:
Produced Music Albums and performed live on my compositions during the Music Expo, at Calarts, USA and in India.
Music Education:
Tutored students in USA and in India on a variety of subjects such as classical piano, western keyboard, music theory for music producers, electronic music production, Ableton live, Hindustani voice and Indian Classical singing.
Music Video Creation:
I create Music Videos. I Produce and perform my original compositions and piano fusion music for my music channel on YouTube and Instagram.
